Teleradiology software for preliminary and final interpretations from Perfect Imaging simplifies workflow for subspecialty or elective teleradiology imaging services, off site radiology services, teleradiology reading support services and teleradiology solution providers.

Teleradiology services that provide concise high quality diagnostic patient image interpretations and complete interpretive reports use our teleradiology software and PACS systems to provide mission critical teleradiology coverage and industry leading turnaround times.

The Interpreation Process:

Radiologists and teleradiology services interpret studies and generate reports using PACSstar, a hosted teleradiology PACS software system. When a study is open in a reading workstation, any stored prior reports or images are available for review. Typical teleradiology practice is to maintain the last two months of images on the server and purged unless hosted storage is provided. The radiologist can add an addendum as needed.

PACSstar's integrated reporting and voice recognition system, Nuance Dragon Medical, enables the radiologist to dictate and generate a report. It supports an unlimited number of macros that can be used for normal studies, or as a starting point for complex cases.

Via voice command, a radiologist can complete and sign the study or report on his or her own, or can send it to a dedicated teleradiology review worklist review and then subsequently approve the final interpretation report for distribution. Preliminary and final interpretations and reports are customized with client logo, address, etc. After the report is completed, it leaves the PACSflow worklist and the next study is automatically launched in PACSstar and eFilm Workstation, ready for dictation.
